Senators Olga Perepechina and Baktybay Chelpekov took part in the international conference on "Central and South Asia: Regional Connectivity. Challenges and Opportunities", which was held in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The purpose of the conference is to form a political and expert platform for a multilateral discussion of the model of mutually beneficial strategic communication "Central Asia – South Asia" in the transport and logistics, energy, trade, production, investment, technological, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
The event was attended by more than 250 participants from more than 40 countries and international organizations.
