Deputies and employees of the Senate Administrative Office took part in the traditional citywide cleanup event. They planted seedlings of elm, larch, oak, pine, and poplar trees along the Shabal Beisekova Street.
Upon the instructions of the Head of State, the national program “Green Kazakhstan” is to be developed, and active work is being carried out on planting trees. The initiative of Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to plant more than 2 billion trees in the forest area and 15 million trees in populated localities of the country gained wide public support.
Senators note that they should support the work on solving environmental problems and landscaping not only through legislative activities, but also by taking part in environmental campaigns.
