A meeting of the dialogue site “Ulttyk Mudde” was held on the topic “The national values of fair Kazakhstan” with the participation of the speaker of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Maulen Ashimbaev. The expert community and representatives of the national intelligentsia discussed the results of socio-political reforms carried out in the country, and the role of national values in the formation of fair Kazakhstan and the intellectual nation.
Opening the work of the dialogue site, Maulen Ashimbaev noted that, on the initiative of the country's president, Kasym-Zhomart Tokayev, a complex of large-scale reforms in the country is being held. He also emphasized that important steps in the implementation of the principles of the ideas of fair Kazakhstan were changes to the Constitution.
The Chairman of the Senate noted the importance of transformations in the legislative sphere. In this regard, the Senate today becomes a ward that protects the interests of the regions.
“Fair Kazakhstan is, first of all, the introduction of the principle of justice in all areas. To achieve a common goal in this direction, it is necessary to combine the efforts of state institutions and civil society and act from the perspective of national interests. We believe that in such a difficult time it is especially important to promote the common values that can rally the nation,” said Maulen Ashimbaev.
In his speech, the Senate Speaker noted values that, in his opinion, are fundamental and correspond to the interests and modern requests of Kazakhstanis.
“When discussing the topic of today's meeting, a logical question arises: “What are our common values?” From this position, everyone can have their own, different from others. But I think that by key principles, our approaches converge. Our society unites such values as independence, justice, peace, education, labor and mutual responsibility,” Maulen Ashimbaev emphasized attention.
At the same time, as noted by the participants in the meeting, in the promotion of national values among the younger generation and youth, systematic work and original format of work are important. Mediaxperts and representatives of the creative industry proposed new types of content and modern methods of broadcasting.
Maulen Ashimbaev emphasized that all the proposals voiced during the discussion will be taken into account in the work of the Senate.
“The concept of fair Kazakhstan is very important for our country and further strengthening independence. Its implementation is the responsibility of not only the state. It is important to form common values. In addition, rational, modern mechanisms and forms of promotion are needed. We are sure that the intelligentsia, scientists, state bodies, representatives of the creative industry, citizens working in the field of art, public organizations will work together in this direction,” said the Senate speaker and expressed gratitude to the meeting participants for supporting and participating in the dialogue site.
Participation in the expert discussion of issues, along with senators, was accepted by the state and public figure Darkhan Mynbai, president of the National Sports Association of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Zenat Islambek Salzhanov, Director of Bilim Media Group Rauan Kenzhekhanuly, media experts Makpal Zhumabay, multiplier laureate and others and others.
