Senator Nurtore Zhusip took part in the special session of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan

Chairman of the Committee for Social and Cultural Development and Science of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nurtore Zhusip, took part in a special session of the Milli Mazhlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Heydar Aliyev.

During the meeting, the senator noted that Azerbaijan is one of the reliable and strategically important partners and a good neighbor for Kazakhstan on the world stage. And participation in such significant events is another opportunity to further strengthen the fraternal ties between our countries.

“Heydar Aliyev is a historical figure, a national hero of the entire Azerbaijani people. His contribution to the formation and strengthening of Azerbaijan is invaluable. He is the founder of the idea that became the foundation of the national revival and development of the current Azerbaijani ideology. It was after he came to the leadership of the country that the process of deep modernization of the economy, political system and public life of Azerbaijan began,” Nurtore Zhusip said.

In addition, the parliamentarian met with the Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office, Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pasha-Zade. The senator handed him a letter of greeting from the Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in which Maulen Ashimbayev conveys warm words of greeting and highly appreciates the invaluable contribution of Sheikh-ul-Islam to the preservation of peace and the strengthening of inter-civilizational dialogue, as well as his active participation in the work of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions. The Speaker of the Senate also wished Allahshukur Pasha-Zade further success in promoting the true values of Islam based on virtue, tolerance and a high level of morality.

At the same time, Nurtore Jusip visited the Secretariat of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Turkic States, where he met with the Secretary General Mehmet Sureya Er and discussed the prospects for further cooperation.
